LISBON, OLD BUILDING: Lisbon was destroyed by earthquake in 1755 and was quickly rebuilt. I do not know if this building is quite that old but it might be. Lisbon is an intriguing mix of old and new, slum and slick, old values and cosmopolitan mores.
