I love the abstraction of life through the black and white medium. Soft slow light and long exposures gives the subject texture and luminosity. There is something ambiguous, mysterious and lyrical about it. The parallels between photography and philosophy are questions of being, knowing and existing. Black and white photographs reveal a metaphorical presence beyond surface description and allows viewing of the inner reality of things. Black and white photographs may be the creation of my own non existent world.
